		<description>Hm.. it was very interesting to read about Budapest from a tourist&#039;s view. As a Hungrian I see things a bit differently.
To tell the truth what you wrote about dogs was very funny, I&#039;ve never heard of such:) People buy dogs because they are good guardians, simple as that. While it&#039;s somewhat true that there were many divorces, it was because in communism one family could have only one house plus one vacation home, thus many spouses divorced in order to buy more if they could (of course they still lived together).
Personally I never heard that we rely on tourism so much. Maybe small towns with hot bath - but big cities, no. Also, most of Hungarians welcomed us joining EU - only a minority hard-core nationalists opposed. We still have factories, although it&#039;s true that many were sold -at times for laughable amount of money- by the corrupt government after communism collapsed.
The truth is that our biggest curse was and still is communism, which brainwashed generations of people, and which brought such a wicked corruption over the country, that is still strong and active in the parliament stifling every attempt of healthy development. That will hopefully change in the future,</description>
