This lake on the way of Adapazari,Karasu. When you turned to Karasu side you should drive 25-26 km more and turn to from Golkent sign. After continuo 4-5 km you will reach to Ak Lake.

Ak Lake or with the other name Big Ak Lake is big lake but not well known by the many people. With heavily rain Sakarya river comes until inside of the village. Therefore it has taken Big Ak Lake name.

When the first residents came to this village it has been covered with heavily forest. Unfortunately some of the trees are cut to open area for the fields. Side ways are asphalt around the lake, only fields ways are unimproved. You can come easily near by the lake side with your car. There is rushy place on the lake also small unpaid boats became very old and taken black color because out of repair. Trees in side of the lake and small boats if you also have clouds you have a great frame to take a photo.

There are a few small disorderly fish restaurants. During the winter time they are close but during spring or summer time having lunch, on grass could be very joyful. There is only one restaurant is open during the winter time the name is Sami Baba Restaurant.

Lake is very rich about fish. You can eat there Pike, Carp, Cat Fish. If you want to look at the lake from the hill, you should go to hill where the historical church is.

There is another option for lunch before you to go lake. Just at the junction where you should turn to Golkent there is Gunesoglu restaurant. It has very nice garden, and small glasses rooms in the garden. They have very wide menu you can find something for your self to eat.
