Agva was gate of many civilizations as Hittites, Phrygian, Roman and Ottoman civilizations, this is a Latin word Agva means established between the ”two-stream village”. Agva takes place in the border of Sile, in 1992 it had own municipality. About 100 km from Istanbul the way is asphalt but it has some bends. Your first stop near to Agva should be Akcakese village, the rocks into the sea, if the sea is calm, gives nice reflections, these views will take away you to the other worlds. If you want to spend summer weekends there is wooden hotel where you can stay is Woody Ville. There’s calmness in winter to take beauty photos you can spend 1-2 hours here.

When you go to in side of Agva trought to Goksu river you will see nice views where the river combined with the sea. Residents of small fishing boats in the water when they leave a tiny ripple, also water reflections fall again this will encouraged you to take photo. If you continuing towards the east side of Agva you will see small hotels and at side of the Yesilcay river canoes are for rent. These hotels are in green spaces they are very enjoyable at summer and also at winter time. In summer time you can take sun bath on the grasses or go to beach by boat which is belong to the hotel. I can recommend you Acqua Verde or River Side hotels. You can have your breakfast on the small pier, after that you can walk into the forest, in the evening after having open buffet dinner you can listen live music in front of fireplace (in winter) while you drink something.

If you do not want to walk in to the forest, another option is to go the Hidden Lake which is very close to Agva. This lake is really hidden it is after past Pinarli Village and Kadi Village. If you go in winter, a bit difficult to find because there are nobody to ask around. Park your car on a flat terrain and have to walk a bit. It is an inland paradise. Have an iron gate at the entrance of the lake but the gate is open, when you come through Hidden Lake, it will tell you welcome with all great fruit trees. You can see different photo frames while you walk around the lake. Best time to take photos is sunset.

Other option is to go Kilimli bay. Here is also very nice place during spring time. To come here you should follow Goksu River until the  cross road, you should turn left side from here pass the bridge and go ahaed. You will see on the tree a small sign written Kilimli . There is a small facility for the summer time to stay there with your tent.

If you want to go to villages Hacilli comes first with historical places. Here you can visit the Gurlek Cave dated end of 3th century. Castle ruin at the Castle Hill and in the border district of Sungurlu, mountain mill can be visited locations. Spring months you can shot awakening of nature.
